Data Controller
The Data Controller in this context is considered to be the tenant of Infotech’s Construction Card Reader or ChkBox App with its associated electronic workforce list and/or ITBASE Project Web. It is the Data Controller who decides who becomes users in our systems. Infotech reads HSE cards with a self-produced Construction Card Reader and checks the card’s validity from IDEMA, which provides its services on behalf of the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority. You can read more about HSE cards at https://www.arbeidstilsynet.no/hms/hms-kort-i-bygg-og-anlegg/
Infotech is the data controller for information about people who contact us in connection with sales, support, or consulting services.
Purpose
The purpose of collecting personal data through the Construction Card Reader and ChkBox App is to assist data controllers in fulfilling the requirements for electronic workforce lists according to the Construction Client Regulations § 15. According to the regulations, the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority may have access to collected personal data.
ITBASE Project Web is a tool for document management in construction projects and property management. In ITBASE, personal data is collected to manage access to various documents and for communication between Infotech’s customers and their users.
In connection with sales or support, we store and process personal data based on requests, orders, and when you subscribe to newsletters. This is to provide you with the best possible service and efficient customer care.
In consulting services and system development for customers, we may, in some cases, need access to and/or store personal data on behalf of the customer.
Legal Basis
In connection with the use of the Construction Card Reader and workforce list, the collection, processing, and storage of personal data will follow the Construction Client Regulations § 15 on overview lists.
What Personal Data is Processed
Electronic workforce registration requires the processing of personal data stored on the HSE card read by the Construction Card Reader. Automatically collected information during card registration includes name, date of birth, gender, and employer. The data controller can also register relevant information such as certificates and whether the cardholder is an apprentice or hired. For logging into the workforce list, your name, company, office address, email, and phone number are stored.
In ITBASE Project Web, your name, company, office address, email, and phone number are stored. Login times and the date and time of file processes are also recorded.
In our sales and support systems, data relevant to the rental agreement and use of the product are stored, including contact information about the orderer and users.
Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties
Infotech offers integration options with Kvalitetskontroll, SmartDok, and HMSReg for the workforce list. In these cases, it is the data controller who requests integration, and Infotech facilitates it.
Infotech has a secure account with EDI through Posten Bring for product delivery. Here, information about the delivery address and the recipient’s name, email, and phone number will be found. Infotech is a customer of LinkMobility for SMS services.
Deletion and Archiving
Unless otherwise agreed, the workforce list is automatically deleted 6 months after the reported project end.
ITBASE Project Web is deleted from Infotech’s server by agreement with the data controller.
Inactive users in our services are deleted from the user database when they are no longer considered active. The general rule is that personal data is deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Security
Personal data is stored with Infotech AS and LocalHost in Norway. Password login is required for access and processing of personal data in all Infotech systems. Infotech has internal routines to ensure the secure processing of your information.
Your Rights
As the data subject, you have the right to access the personal data we have about you and the right to know how the data is processed. Requests for access and deletion will normally go through the data controller. Infotech adheres to Norwegian law and the General Data Protection Regulation.
Complaint
You have the right to complain about Infotech’s processing of your personal data. The complaint should be sent to: Datatilsynet, Postboks 8177, 0034 Oslo
